Deadstock Dallas is the SHOEVMENT!

Chocolate Snowflake has convinced me to finally sell off all the shit in my crib collecting dust. A nigga still got only two feet so why does he need to own several hundred shoes? So I’m selling off unused unworn kicks, vintage Polo gear and toys.

I’ll be outdoors for the next few weeks (end of October) and then indoors for the weekends leading up to the holidays.

Definitely stop by and see if anything I got gets you hype.

Maffew’s video to ‘City Of God’ uses Brownsville, J’Ouvert and the West Indian Day Parade as the backdrop. Brooklyn is definitely still ghetto red hot.

I’m still on my EFF YOU Dr.JAYs shit Internets.

How Dr.JAYs gonna try an act brand new with me?

I remember you Dr.JAYs when you were just a ramshackle an Army-Navy store. You tried to comeup in the sporting goods game but Modell’s runs that lane hardbody.

Modell’s is gonna let me host an Air Jordan party in one of their stores this holiday season. I’m gonna nail Dr.JAYs ass to the wall with that event.

MEYHEM LAUREN LIVE @ WEBSTER HALL…

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

Meyhem Lauren headlined a homecoming celebration at the famed Webster Hall nightclub. Along with J-Love, AG da Coroner and the Outdoorsmen the set was hardbody high energy real NYC rap.

Thirstin’ Howl the 3rd, the OG Lo-Life general made an appearance too. Lifestylers were in the building rocking some of the illest pieces you will ever see.

The show featured a couple of artists I met for the first time. GoogieGoHard opened the show with energy and a supportive following. After he rocked this dude R-20 got up on stage and put in work. The Studio space in Webster Hall is intimate for a venue holding several hundred people.

The crowd was here to support Meyhem Lauren but that didn’t stop the opening acts from holding down the stage as if the show was theirs to own. Gifted Hoods’ Gee Dubs then came on the set to catch wreck. Gee Dubs is a young rapper from Queens affiliated with the All City Crew.

Shaz IllYork came on next and he brought Spit Gemz up on stage with him. The two rappers represent the BQE connect. They are calling themselves The Opposition. Shaz and Spit Gemz did some joints from Shaz’ ‘Air Unlimited’ project.

I kicked it with DJ J-Love, the mixtape king, before his protégé Meyhem Lauren took the stage. J let me listen to some tracks off his upcoming project ‘Not Designed 2 Quit’. All the Outdoorsmen are catching wreck on this album. Meyhem Lauren is a beast.

J-Love has been grooming Meyhem Lauren for this very moment. The unending volume of mixtapes, the features alongside Hip-Hop legends, the work ethic and video production. All of that prior hard work made this Meyhem performance feel like it was a homecoming. Because I know this dude personally and I know how crazy he has been grinding just to get to this place in his career I felt proud to be a part of this event.

Meyhem Lauren is the future of NYC rap because he is the embodiment of all Hip-Hop’s elements. It all started with his passion for graffiti and you should know that once you get the fever to get up you have to get down.
