Our big homey Action Bronson had a show this past weekend in NYC’s Gramercy Theatre. With one foot now in the door, Action brought along the entire Outdoorsmen crew to tear that shit down.

Meyhem Lauren, AG da Coroner, Science, Steel and of course, the indomitable J-Love were all in the building. Lo-Life general Thirstin’ Howl the 3rd also made a powerful cameo. This concert was the return of NYC’s gritty, fuck what you heard rap.

Piecebook Goes Global…

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

An image from World Piecebook available now

My big homey CHINO: BYI and egotrip’s Sasha Jenkins are back on one with the latest edition of their Piecebook franchise. This time they go global with the graffiti. Atists from Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, South America and Africa contribute to this blackbook chock full of burners and bangers proving that Hip-Hop’s graphic artform is as global as its music.

Help my people celebrate the launch of World Piecebook: Global Graffiti Drawings–the third book inside of their critically-acclaimed Piecebook series at the Red Bull Space in Manhattan. Copies of World Piecebook will be available for purchase, a FREE limited edition World Piecebook t-shirt with the first 100 books sold, (plus CHINO and Sasha will be proud to sign your copy). The night begins with a discussion on the history and importance of piece books featuring noted artists Doves FC, Kr.One and Mr. Kaves.

DJ Treats and the legendary and mighty Prince Paul will be on the wheels of steel playing the best possible music on the planet. Even the OGs have to RSVP for this one: rsvp@massappealmag.com
