I’m still scrambling to score that 2013 bear sweater, but while I keep finding frustration from my flourishing I’m copping knits for my holiday snow shoveling swag.

Yes! I will be wearing shorts in the snow because these socks are BOSS!

Still In The Planning Stages…

Don’t think because I get free pairs of boots from Timberland that I don’t still spend my bread on boots… FROM TIMBERLAND. I peeped these joints at Dr.Jays and they intrigued me. The plan was to rock these with the hat pictured above that I ordered from Lids.com along with the new Polo bear sweater.

It turns out that Lids is having inventory issues and Macy’s won’t tell me if and when they are selling the bear sweater. Just like real architecture, outfit architecture requires planning, and most importantly, funding. At least my foundation (footings) are secured. We’ll have to wait and see if this ‘Fit ever gets built.

Macys

I will coupon a nigga to def. Especially when you get them percentages off jawns. I just like to see percentages off shit regardless. I rolled up in Macy’s at the ass crack of the morning to copp that new R.L. bear sweater, but they wasn’t selling it yet. PrA’Li because they knew I had my coupons. LOL.

So I copped one of the new Modern Explorer rugbys we previewed last week and a U.S. Open ’13 knit on clearance. Peep the Godd Bootgod interlude featuring Timberland x Opening Ceremony boots on sale at Burlington Coat Factory for the SUPER LOW.

Going into the Timberland NYC offices was like Charlie getting that golden ticket into Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. There weren’t any Oompa Loompas tho’. But I saw a side of Timberland that I had only imagined up to that point. I’ve been following this brand for over twenty five years and this visit was their acknowledgment of that fact. You already know it all culminated with the ‘Thank You’ gift of the 2013 Iditarod Superboot.

Timberland’s entire product line is placed throughut the offices. The Earthkeepers products (Timberland’s basic line) along with the Abington, PRO and Timberland Boot Company brands.

I held some of the samples for next year’s styles. I wanted one of everything in the office. You do know I’m a hypebeast right?

For all my Lifestylers, it was like peeping the future lineup of PRL blue label, black label, purple label, D & S and RLX all in one day.

Mind. Effin. BLOWN!

Y’all need to stop sleeping on this urban hiker called the Intervale Mid. Sure it has European styling but the 3/4 height makes it look tough with shorts or jeans. Timberland reduced this boot to $80 for Columbus Day weekend with an additional 30% off. I’m mad tight they don’t have any size 12s left.

The next goal on my path is to design a boot. To spec out all the materials and the hardware for a classic style.

Designing a 6″ Field Boot is the next step for the Godd Bootgod to travel to. An all leather 6″ Field Boot?! With butter soft leather on the collar and tongue. Maybe even a gumsole? FIYAHVERKXXX!!!

Ralph Lauren really put in work with the Modern Explorer series from a couple of years ago. So much that the series is returning with all new pieces for the Fall/Winter ’13 season.

As you might would expect there are some fire I.T.’s in this run. Along with the 2013 Holiday series there’ll be several ‘Must Cop’ joints for your archives. I’ve pulled down a few…

Short sleeve ruggedness. I buy s/s knits in the wintertime so I can rock them with a thermal or henley shirt underneath.

I have been OD with the native American motifs for a minute but I also can immediately think of a murderous ‘fit with this shawl collar knit as the centerpiece

This eagle chest knit goes so hard in the paint especially when you pull out the hood on fools. I’m calling this item a ‘Must Cop’.

I also FUX with this rugby hardbody. I love the colorblocking and the flag patch on the back is John Blaze, or should I say, Just Blaze.
