The Boot Camp Clique Chronicles…

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

Timberland and TeamEpiphany laced me with a pair of GoreTex lined Cadion hikers. I’ve been into the Cadion series from the first pair I copped back in 2009. The Cadion series of boots are super lightweight and ultra-reliable due to the Vibram outsole. You guys know how much I love D-ring lacing systems?

These Cadion hikers are clean as hell and they match up well with some of this season’s Ralph Lauren knits. I’ma call these Mountain Athletic series boots my ‘Cranberry Sauce’. Bawse!

Reebok Back…

Sunday, January 8th, 2012

The key to Reebok’s resurgence in the sneaker game is gonna be the quality of the materials they use to reintroduce people to their classic styles. Swiss sneaker retailer Titolo got their hands on the classic jogging shoe treated with a sexy oiled suede upper.

This shoe should not be slept on, especially considering how few sneakers are actually made with real leather anymore. Keep your eyes on Reebok so you don’t miss any of these classic retros they are re-releasing.

Maffew Ragazino – ‘Blaxploitation’

Wednesday, January 4th, 2012

The opening track from Maffew Ragazino’s critically acclaimed album ‘Rhyme Pays’ gets BluCheez’d and then YouTube’d.

Rap music in 2012 is str8 up blaxploitation where the Blacks are now cartoons and caricatures of themselves. Where blaxploitation films saved Hollywood from financial collapse in the early 1970s the new blaxploitation in rap music is strangling the art of Hip-Hop.

Hopefully Maffew Ragazino can be the shield that Hip-Hop needs to defend itself from the culture vultures and caveman currency savages simply trying to profiteer from the music without supporting the culture or the future. Maffew Ragazino literally needs to become the Ultimate Nick Fury from S.H.I.E.L.D.
