The Combat Jack Show A3C 2012…

Thursday, August 23rd, 2012

The Combat Jack Show will go live in Atlanta for the A3C festival from October 11-14. There will even be a Bring Your Own Blogger BBQ in Atlanta to wrap up the festival. Can you say ‘Chea!’?

Killer Mike will be the show’s guest on Friday nite. Yes! The same Killer Mike who dropped the phenomenal R.A.P. Music album. Watch his latest video from the project and get ready for Combat in Atlanta…

NFL = Not For Long…

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012

Peace to my cuzzo Ryan Grant who is starting the 2012 campaign from the training room waiting for a new team to sign his offer sheet. The NFL = Not For Long especially for running backs, but Ryan will hook up with a team prA’Li before opening day kicks off.

The dP dot com Pick ‘Em Pool is fired up as usual and if you haven’t received your invite then drop a comment with your e-mail address in the appropriate field so I can send one out to you ASAP (no Rocky).

Southern Independence…

Friday, August 17th, 2012

Atlanta has more independent music festivals than Austin and New York City combined. Ever since the days of the Jack The Rapper convention Atlanta has kept their doors open to emerging artists and trends. There’s a reason why terrestrial radio plays mostly music broken from Atlanta (Ca$h Out?!?) and that’s because Atlanta stays on their grind for up and coming talent.

This weekend will be the setting for the Atlanta Independent Music Festival. This is the festival where artists like Yelawolf, B.o.B., J-Davey and Donnis caught their launching pad buzz from. I’m prA’Li gonna meet up with Maurice Garland for the first time at this event.

I’m scheduled to be back in Atlanta in October for the A3C Music Festival. Good thing for me mom’s basement is in Marietta. It’s like I’m already home when my plane lands at Hartsfield.
