The Brooklyn Flea With Deadstock Dallas…

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

I’m back at the Brooklyn Flea in Clinton Hill this Saturday for another day of Deadstock Dallas selling Polo Ralph Lauren, deadstock (unworn, never tried on) sneakers and collectible toys, or as my dad would have called this stuff – shit. LOL

Nah, but f’real tho’, last week was fun and a few heads rolled thru. If you are in NYC you should come to the Brooklyn Flea for the food alone but def stop by my setup and copp some of my shit.

Tampa Skate Park SBs, JorDunks and Air Trainer 3s are all on the table with some other choice pairs. All shoes are size 12 (except for the Jordan 1 retro ‘LA Lakers’ – 11.5).

Vintage Polo Ralph Lauren cotton and wool knit sweaters just in time for the Cuffing Season chill out. Sizes XL and XXL (sorry the mediums and larges sold on eBay back in 2000)

There is something very futuristic yet very alien about the Nike Foamposite shoe. I was having a hard time recalling why the shoes upper was so tantalizing to my eyes. Then out of the blue I remembered how the shoe was reminiscent of drawings I saw from that German nutcase H.R.Giger.

The exterior ridges on the shoe give it that exoskeletal appeal and the clear outsole is certainly how it is being done in outerspace. The shoes featured below are a player exclusive for Penny Hardaway himself. Lucky bastid.

Deadstock Dallas is the SHOEVMENT!

Chocolate Snowflake has convinced me to finally sell off all the shit in my crib collecting dust. A nigga still got only two feet so why does he need to own several hundred shoes? So I’m selling off unused unworn kicks, vintage Polo gear and toys.

I’ll be outdoors for the next few weeks (end of October) and then indoors for the weekends leading up to the holidays.

Definitely stop by and see if anything I got gets you hype.

Le Mans Lifestyle…

le mans

Ralph Lauren is at it once again designing items that fit the lifestyle of the international man of leisure. I just went ham over the Ocean Challenge series of yachtsman apparel.

Now Polo RL is coming at me with gear from the pitcrew of the great Le Mans sportscar race.

le mans

The Le Mans Gran Prix is this famous car race held in France over 24 consecutive hours to test the endurance of the racecar and its driver.

The Polo RL Racing series has jackets and sweaters in the lineup but its this vest that has my eyes.

There’s no way I’d be able to fux with the Custom Fit XXL but thankfully Rochester Big & Tall men’s store is selling the vest too.

For those of us in the pitcrew whose six pack is from Fat Tire brew.

air max 180

The Air Max 180 is one of my all-time favorite designs within the Air Max pantheon. The exposed air unit at the heel is nothing short of evolutionary. I’m pysched that Nike has returned the original shoe design to their iD programme.

Except they have reintroduced the shoe with a sick slew of alternate materials and colorway options like never before. I took a dry run thru the design module and crafted a pair of kicks for my Kryptonian alter-ego.

dal-el 180s

On Krypton my name is Dal-El so that is what I called these joints.

dal-el 180s

Synthetic perforated leather as the base material with synthetic suede on the upper. No animals were used in the manufacturing of this shoe.

These Air Max 180s are vegan approved.

Speckled foam midsole with the ‘pop’ coming from the color in the heel airbag unit.

Lord only knows that Chocolate Snowflake is gonna lose her shit when she sees another pair of sneakers come thru her doorway but for only $120 they are some of the most affordable shoes within the Nike iD programme.

Pray for me Internets.
