All Day I Dream About Sic (Semper Tyrannus)…

Wednesday, June 15th, 2011

The Virginia state motto is the latin phrase ‘Sic Semper Tyrannus’ which is translated to mean ‘Death To Tyrants’. Peep that deep blue background. Last summer adidas released a pack of Rod Lavers with all of the colors contained in the commonwealth’s flag.

This summer I’m going to try and change that old marketing slogan which said ‘Virginia Is For Lovers’ into Virginia Is For Lavers. Highlighted by the classic Rod Laver adidas with the royal blue sole to match the state flag colors.

I’ll let y’all know as soon as I have the t-shirts printed.

No One Can Do It Better…

The Dallas Mavs ‘chip had me reminisce on my favorite Metroplex mic controller. Dr.Dre’s protégé The D.O.C. was rhyming harder and more precise than any midwest rapper I had heard up to that point. If not for a car accident in which his vocal chords were damaged we might be holding The D.O.C. up in the G.O.A.T. pantheon.

One thing was for certain and that is the undeniable classic which is his debut album ‘No One Can Do It Better’.

The summer season won’t be complete without me copping one of these washed out short-sleeved knits for my beach blanket outfit swag.

Dallas Puts The Heat On Ice…

Monday, June 13th, 2011

Haha. It appears some bandwagon Heat fan has taken umbrage with the Miami meltdown and tossed their limited edition LeBron James kicks into the round file. Unfortunately for Miami it was the only thing related to LeBron James last niight that went INTO a basket.

LeBron didn’t have a poor shooting line, altho’ he made most of his shots in the 1st half. James was quiet in the final period. The real controversy brewing in Miami however isn’t even about James lackluster late game playoff performances, but the fact that he has six(6) toes on his right foot.

So the question I have is how many toes does LeBroad James need to have on his feet just to hit a clutch basket in an elimination playoff game?
