Chocolate Snowflake’s late father, Roy DeCarava, is being featured in an art exhibit currently sited at the Whitney Museum (Madison Avene/ East 75th Street – NYC) titled Blues For Smoke. The exhibit features photographs, paintings, collages, sculptures and other interdisciplinary artforms to not simply describe blues as a musical genre but as an aesthetic for motivating creative people to do what they do.

This is the same way that Hip-Hop informs me of what to value in my life. My outfit architecture was simple and clean. Y’all know I love prints and colors but I chose to be somewhat muted in my presentation.

Lavender is the springtime flavor for rebirth and regeneration. The Fair Isle scarf was my popp tho’. Better than having a sweater in that pattern all over my fat body the scarf says ‘Lifestyle’ to all who know my steez.

When are the Doppelgangaz gonna let me direct a video? The answer would be Nevuary. LOL. They doing their thing on they own and the world is finally catching up. I had a latepass my damn self when it came to the DPGZ.

Their latest project will be titled ‘Hark’ and it’s dropping in two weeks. Maybe I’ll get an exclusive interview with them beforehand. Stay tuned Internets. In the meantime and in between time here’s a new video for your eyeholes.

Internets! Be careful what you pray for because God may give it to you.

I begged Combat Jack to add a video element to the show he was recording. Today is THAT future in full force.

Today the Combat Jack television show starts taping in Bushwick Brooklyn. This is my outfit architecture for the show. Navajo lined cardigan with leather elbow patches ($75) and the navajo scarf ($30) from Polo.com thanks to T-Bag’s link.

Sean Price killed me one day saying I wore ‘Big Daddy’ jeans. I may have burned every pair of carpenter jeans I owned that very night.

Strictly 501 button fly classics from here on.

rescue

Internets, y’all gotta rescue me from myself. I copped this RLX ski goose in a size XL. I be tripping my soul out sometimes. The XXL in RLX is tight enough so you know the XL is for me to rock as a scarf.

It’s only $180 shipped and $165 for a NYC meetup, and no, the shoes DO NOT come with the jacket. Holla.
