A.G. da Coroner: Blow The City Up

Monday, August 27th, 2012

I caught up with Coroner at Meyhem Lauren’s in-store performance in Bushwick. I told Coroner I needed a joint from him because I had just picked up this new action figure I was going to use to represent him.

A.G. did me one better. He blew the whole city up.

It’s about to be on…

SNEAKER FIENDS UNITE!

Thursday, August 23rd, 2012

My nephew Isaiah makes an S.F.U. cameo for this review of the Lebron9 Elite ‘Taxi’ colorway. I thought people would enjoy the Bob James music in the background since its the theme song from the TV show ‘Taxi’, but no one fuxing with sneakers nowadays remembers that show. Ah well, cie la vie…

For the second anniversary of the Combat Jack Show we welcome the legendary Memphis Bleek. This is one of my favorite shows we ever recorded. The talk is real and uncensored.

The Combat Jack Show is the ONLY radio show on the Internets worth listening to.

Killer Mike will be the show’s guest on Friday nite. Yes! The same Killer Mike who dropped the phenomenal R.A.P. Music album. Watch his latest video from the project and get ready for Combat in Atlanta…

SNEAKER FIENDS UNITE!

KixPo was all of that and a pair of deadstock Foamposites. I was so hype from this trip that as soon as I touched down in NYC I had to copp the yellow Foamposites.

There was no way I was going to get my sneakergame up to the professional level that some of these folks were holding, but gosh darn it I’m def gonna try. I’m talking about ridiculous amount of heat and fireworks. These cats HAVE to still be living in their mom’s basements to afford all this shit.

Everything is bigger in Texas [ll] and that means the hospitality from the event promoters as well. As a part of the DuckDown entourage we were shuttled to and from the ginormous Cowboys Stadium (which looked like a spaceship that had landed) to the hotel. The overall experience guaranteed my return for next year’s KixPo.

Let’s also agree that Sean Price should have his own television show where he uses his slanguage to describe the world around him. Sean is a brilliant wordsmith which has led to him being a favorite emcee, but his personality is too engaging for just rap alone. Enjoy these clips Internets. #SneakerFiendsUnite
