Swag Central Station…

I stopped by the homey H spot on Steinway Street called Poleberg. You might have seen’t the SFU video I posted from there a few weeks ago. Anyhoo, I wanted a chapeau to top off my Air Jordan 2012s as well as some other ‘fits I’ve been building.

Poleberg has literally thousands of pro model and snapback style New Era caps. I went with the limited edition “Gino Cafarelli” Florida Marlins joint which also has glow in the dark threading. They only produced 50 of these caps and I’m holding #27 so that means more than half are in the hands of other swagadocious collectors like myself.

Southpaw Supreme…

R.A. Dickey [ll] got the Mets off their weekend skid and Johan Santana brought back the swag along with Lucas Duda’s homerun swing. These are the Metropolitans I want to watch play.

I’ll be in Queens this weekend for the Q-Boro tilt to the annual Subway Series. Holler when you see me in the streets

Respect The Dread…

The Mets have lost some of that early season swag they had found in May but getting swept in their second consecutive weekend series. If the Mets played all their games during the week they might have the best record in the bigs.

The Reds kept the Mets in check with good defense and precision pitching, but the Mets didn’t help their cause either by leaving men in scoring position stranded on base all game. This week the second place Orioles and first place Yankees come out to CitiField.

I’m not gonna say that we miss Jose Reyes, but we do miss his dreads.

Derek Jeter sends his jumpoffs home in a livery cab with a swag bag sitting on the back seat. One of his favorite pieces of swag to issue is an autographed baseball.

Derek Jeter is a boss on so many levels.
