roc mars

I gotta go back in on these two(2) joints off the advance copy of Roc Marciano’s ‘Marcberg’ that I haven’t been able to stop spinning in my iTunes. Just listen to these joints again with your eyes closed. Roc Mar paints a picture that even a blind man can see.

I’m calling the ‘Marcberg’ CD the album of the year. Earrrly. Shouts to my nigga ‘Spekt.

Roc Marciano will be one of the artists rocking the stage for the ‘Lo-End Theory. Real rap ain’t die, it’s just living underground.

I always said that lawyers ruined the soundscape for Hip-Hop music. The concepts that the Bomb Squad created would never have been possible in the current attorney pwned music business. Don’t take my words for it tho’.

Peep this documentary called ‘Copyright Criminals’…

Now I see why the mixtape game is so prevalent now. Who could afford to clear a sample?

Riding out with Timeless Truth lastnite reminded me how much I miss my old ‘hood.

Corona, Queens is the epicenter of the city that is the birthplace of the artistic movement called Hip-Hop. In the 1980’s Flushing Meadow Park would host a weekend extravaganza called ‘Queens Day’. There would be free concerts all throughout the park and Queens’ finest would be on display.

This drop is just a small tribute to the Unisphere in Flushing Meadow Park, Von’s on Northern Blvd, La Cabana, The Colosseum, Q.P.’s, The Jackson, Lemon Ice King, Busy Bee Mall, Queens Center Mall, Green Acres, and the list goes on and on…

Brand Nubian – ‘All 4-1’

It’s been a month of Sundays since the last episode of Sneaker Fiends Unite! NYC tour has been broadcasted.

I’m going to kick off the tour again with a special episode featuring Meyhem Lauren and Super Bad MC Solace from Timeless Truth. Since we’re all Q-boro heads so I thought we could get into the down and dirty come up spots in Queens.

I’ve got designs on a pair of Air Trainer 3’s but only if I’m scoring them for the ‘Lo-low.

From ‘The Ave'(Jamaica), to Corona, Steinway and all points in between we will run the streets in search of the freshest footwear and gear for the least amount of bread. A good SFU NYC tour will have you in a pair of kicks and eating lunch for under $40. You don’t believe me? Peep the video soon come.
