Cormega was the Combat Jack Show’s special studio guest for this most recent episode. He answered some of the internets most asked questions about his friendship with NaS, and why The Firm flopped. Cormega is gearing up another run at rap, but from a totally independent perspective. I hope he wins.
The Combat Jack Show staff had a moment of reflection on the passing of rap music power broker Chris Lighty. The hilarity ensued when Premium Pete insinuated that Combat Jack was still wearing bondouloo Polo shirts. I did a tag inspection and everything appeared to be on the up and up, altho’ I will agree with Premium that I have never seen that color polo pony on that knit shirt. LOLMFBAO!
Internets, do you see all the rap related drops I have posted on the page the past few days?!? And the MOST anticipated album of 2012 has yet to come into my earholes.
PAUSE!
Here’s a Grown Man Rap leak from Sean P to tide y’all thirstbuckets over.
I’m trying not to get wrapped up too crazy in Roc Marciano’s music since I haven’t given the new SlaughterHouse project enough spins, but I’m listening to the Reloaded album and this shit is fucking incredible.
This track won’t be on the official release but it’s a flaming rap sword that you have to hear.
Some more grown man rap for your earholes Internets. You know the homey Dice Raw from making those Roots albums real cinematic and jazzy. He’s rolling out a project of his own in the meantime and in between time.
I missed out on this classic NYC rap moment by not attending the Action Bronson – Meyhem Lauren show at the Music Hall in Williamsburg.
This was one of the sickest joints off Respect The Fly Shit. I’m glad they connected to do this joint live. I just pitched a show to the people from Highline Ballroom featuring Sean Price, Roc Marciano, Meyhem Lauren, The Doppelgangaz and Mr. Muthafuxin’ eXquire. Stay tuned Internets…
