Outfit Architecture…

Friday, December 6th, 2013

PRL’s Modern Explorer series returned in fall 2013 with a consistent pedigree. It wasn’t too flashy, but it was well made wearable design. These are the pieces that become your weekly staples for years to come.

Macy’s and Modells are two of the classic NYC spots for you to come up on some affordable luxury.

I’m feeling these urban hiker Timberland boots called the Intervale Mids. The shoes are waterproofed and insulated but mostly they are affordable quality. Modells had them for $90 and I kick myself for not copping these from when they were selling them for $65

Macy’s coupon for this weekend is an additional 25% off of regular priced items and clearance pieces. $25 for the kniot and $35 for the zip-neck pullover.

Cranberry Sauce Lifestyle…

Thursday, November 28th, 2013

I don’t know why I wait all the way until the end of the year to enjoy cranberry sauce. I love that shit. And I love roasted turkey meats. Thanksgiving needs to be once a month. Hey, if Black Friday can start in September then I should be allowed to have cranberry sauce in September.

I’m pulling one of my chunky shawl collar knits out for the season. In the past few year Ralph LAuren has been dropping these knits in some of the boldest patterns.

This is the Thanksgiving dinner ‘Fit for my night out with Chocolate Snowflake and her folks.

I paid a visit to the New Era flagship store in the Village and copped a pair of Diamondback pro hats. The all black with the aztec ‘A’ is gonna make a debut soon enough.

The footwear is from Timberland. The Intervale Mid. I should have bought two(2) when I had the chance.

The Adventures Of Godd Bootgod…

My Timberland boot collection is the unequivocal movie.

I review the re-released World Hikers and pull out my O.G. Iditarod Superboots to wax nostalgic about the Timberland brand. If you are hardbody about this #bootlife then you will fux with this video.

Still In The Planning Stages…

Tuesday, October 15th, 2013

Don’t think because I get free pairs of boots from Timberland that I don’t still spend my bread on boots… FROM TIMBERLAND. I peeped these joints at Dr.Jays and they intrigued me. The plan was to rock these with the hat pictured above that I ordered from along with the new Polo bear sweater.

It turns out that Lids is having inventory issues and Macy’s won’t tell me if and when they are selling the bear sweater. Just like real architecture, outfit architecture requires planning, and most importantly, funding. At least my foundation (footings) are secured. We’ll have to wait and see if this ‘Fit ever gets built.
