So I guess when you are really, really rich you are just like a two year old because someone else dresses you?

“Ain’t that like LeBron James? Ain’t that just like D-Wade?”

das racist

My favorite emcees from Wesleyan are back with their latest project for the peoples. A full length studio produced album called ‘Relax‘. Das Racist is the type of rap band you don’t wanna play around with because they will eat your food, and being vegatarians means they don’t don’t eat beef or chicken.

At this point if you are still trying to dismiss these dudes as ‘Hipster Rap’ then you don’t get the point and YOU might be the bigot in this equation. Forget about where they come from and respect where they are at. Das Racist gets busy and they fux with this rap shit harder than almost every other rapper in the game right now.

‘Shut Up, Man’ featuring El-P

I’m gonna keep trying to get my dude Sean Price to do a track with these boys since his young homey Danny Brown FUX with Das Racist. Danny Brown and Despot come in the house to slaughter this track. Hold on to your hats internets.

‘Power’ featuring Danny Brown and Despot

This joint right here is just a heatrock for your headphones that you can use to do your marathon workout to. You think this is a joke? Nah man, these dudes are serious as a cyst on your nuttsachs. I told you they were sick like cancer. Das Rasist is a lyrical rap contagion. Are you infected yet? Good.

DuckDown Was Built For The Long Run…

duckdown

Do you ever stop to think about how long the label DuckDown has been delivering Hip-Hop music as an independent music company? No one else has lasted as long or been as influential to the genre of music. Part of the reason is that the artists on the label have the strength of character to reinvent themselves to the changes in their audience while staying true to who they are as people.

The other reason is that DuckDown understands that the role of the artist is that of marathon runner and not pop music sprinter. DuckDown was built to run marathons from the way they have remained relevant in the music business and their CEO will do just that this November. Dru Ha will participate in the NYC Marathon to raise money for Alzeimer’s research while paying tribute to his father who was afflicted with the disease.

I’m honored that Dru Ha came to Sean Price and myself to help him focus on the training for this grueling event. As you might imagine Sean Price and I have somewhat unorthodox training techniques but I think we gve Dru the encouragement he will need to finish the event. 26.2 miles is pretty much running to the corner store 5000x. Once you break it down that way it all seems so simple.
