You have seen the initials LM in the DP.comments threads from time to time. LM has been one of the site’s biggest supporters in word and deed. LM constantly encourages me to maintain my writing pace and then routinely pays the annual bandwidth fees and domain registration fees.
I was truly honored to be invited to his wedding this weekend. LM is a product of the dream that Martin Luther King Jr. had envisioned. MLK Jr. saw a world where people weren’t judged by their race but by the “content of their character”. The content of this drop is a tribute to LM’s character.
LM’s beautiful bride brought out the sun on Saturday.
I wish them the best in this life and I’m happy to have them in my cipher. They show me the promise that MLK Jr. struggled to achieve is still in effect. They are still believeing. They are living the dream.
The Saints bust that Cardinals ass something properlock, but the Saints ‘D’ wasn’t the best thing stopping the bumrush this weekend. The Colts and the Vikings damn near pitched shutouts. Those defenses racked up major points for this round. All the teams with 1st round byes came out hardbody except for the San Diego Chargers who ran into a destiny filled bulldozer called the New York Jets.
There’s no way the Jets are gonna beat the Colts next week for the AFC crown. After watching the ref’s calls against the Baltimore Ravens you could surmise that the NFL wants their MVP to play a lot longer into the postseason. The Jets will open a brand new stadium next year in the Meadowlands so maybe the league will let them get to the title tilt next year like the MLB pushed the Yankees to the forefront?
