KanYe West – ‘Monster’
Leading up to the release of his fifth studio album KanYe West aka ‘Ye Tudda is tweaking the fine points of the production. This includes the album’s cover art. In all the previous projects ‘Ye Tudda has shown a steadfast and meticulous mind for every detail.
For this album, titled ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ KanYe settled in on the painting displayed above. The Tall Israelis however nipped this idea in the butt [ll]. It’s still too close to the Taylor Swift fiasco for the T.I.’s to let KanYe ride off with all of this provocative imagery.
The last thing Universal/DefJam/Rocafella needs is for some retired soccer moms to stage a protest at Wal-Mart or BestBuy and keep this album from selling out. It’s not like people are buying CD’s anyhoo so there’s prA’li no reason to further tempt fate.
Too bad for ‘Ye Tudda tho’ since this wasn’t the first rejected piece of cover art for this album. Here’s a brief retrospective of all the deleted cover art designs for ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ dropping in stores on November 22nd.
