p

All this wonton soup has me late out the gate for a Sean P heat rock. I feel like this joint should be on Adult Swim during the midnite to 4am programming bloc.

Coincidentally, Big Ruck will be on the Combat Jack Show this Thursday from 12am – 2am to chop it up about the Random Axe project, the long awaited Mic Tyson album, his daughter Shaun Price and prA’li why he doesn’t fux with wonton or chicken noodle soup.

Logon to PNC Radio and get ready for Combat.

It’s all about living the LIVE-Style. Hip-Hop culture runs thru our veins and you gotta utilize your nature to embody your expression. It’s all about a fusion of the 5 elements. It’s POETRY IN LIFE. I can go back to 1987 going into a Kay Bee Toy Store with my 3 man team and coming up out of there broadying maaad Nintendo shit, games, controllers etc. without being noticed, lolz. That’s POETRY IN MOTION my g’s. Going to a Houseparty, taking a mic from the dj, spitting a verse and then bagging some dudes chick( and ride home) is POETRY IN POETRY tho’, lolz. All these things bring you to living a LIVE-Style.

It comes from experience. Never being too shook and making the impossible, possible. The irregular, your regular. Coming from the mean and unfriendly streets of Philly and moving to the more multi-cultural and dirtier streets of Jersey and being back & forth between there and NY until moving to ATL, I’ve had a chance to experience alot and cultivate a LIVE-Style. People need to open up and elevate their brainwaves!!!! Don’t take any of this shit for granted. Nothing is chance. We connect with people globally without even realizing it. Everything effects everything else.

It’s strange to think that by me moving to the South I actually got more opportunity to work with people I admired in the North who I would have never met living in their immediate vicinity. I would have never gotten the chance to meet and be mentored by people like the Ultramagnetic Mc’s, Company Flow, DOOM, C-Rayz Walz, J-Live and many others I consider my brothers. I can’t even tell you if I would be on these here Internets, INTERNETS! All I’m saying is monitor your ego and watch how you float thru life. Are you a leaf or are you just smoke? One can land and spawn new life, and one just dissipates as it emanates.

Focus and Lock the fuck in!!! Make mistakes. Shit I’ve hustled, had money under the mattress, had 5-6 different kinds of trees and well to do clientele. I’ve also chased emotions and wound up homeless living out of an MPV for 6 months, with all my shit in a $19.00 a month storage spot. Without fucking up, making mistakes I wouldn’t be able to fully appreciate the little things I took for granted when I was getting $. Shit like having heat in your home. Shit like looking up at a ceiling and feeling good because you under that bitch. It’s high’s and low’s but without them you can’t fully live a LIVE-Style.

I thanked God tho’ because I had been collecting fitteds, TIMS, Nike’s and Polo since the 90’s, so at least when I was roughing it, no one could really tell. Plus I still kept a chick to crash with as well, so I wasn’t entirely out in the cold, but trust, just being here on the Internets and having presence is a blessing in itself.

If you reading this now and you going thru something, draw in from your experiences and keep your focus! I ain’t one of those “it’s gonna be all good and it get’s better” people, even though it got better for me, but I will say that nothing is impossible no matter how deep in a hole you are. Just keep crawling out that bitch yaheard! Strange Shit Happens!

Unfortunately For Haiti, The Doctor Is In…

duvalier

Only one short year ago Haiti was rocked by a natural disaster hardly seen in this hemisphere. The 2010 earthquake left a country already on the brink of economic ruin in absolute tatters. The news that Jean-Claude ‘Baby Doc’ Duvalier has returned to the country from an imposed exile could be the tipping point for utter social anarchy.

Political and economic forces from outside the country continue to play the Haitian people like so much as marionettes on a string. Duvalier’s return is like the illegimate child who comes the funeral wake to see what money has been left for him. Duvalier is not in Haiti for the Haitian people and the people’s memories aren’t keen enough to know this.

A KING FOREVER…

king

Martin Luther King Jr’s speeches against the Vietnam War and for economic equality are the most hardbody words I have ever read about the condition of American society. King was such a lion on the frontlines of the American war against Black people.

MLK’s struggle for economic justice is still in effect.

Thank God for a man like Martin Luther King Jr. who might have been the most courageous man in the history of this nation along with Malcolm X. There is a reason why this man has a holy day. America had a saint. His name was Martin Luther King Jr.
