MERRY #KICKSMAS FROM FOOTLOCKER…

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

Complex Magazine invited Premium Pete and myself to an exclusive preview of FootLocker’s holiday sneaker programme. The event was like a class reunion of sneakerhead blogs from TheShoeGame’s G-Roc to SneakerNews YuMing and even NiceKicks was represented up in that piece.

Don’t get it twisted FootLocker is the beast in the sneaker game and they don’t play fair. Along with all the hyped up Jordan releases slated for the rest of the year FootLocker reps are talking about emptying their warehouses of all their deadstock heat.

Shit will definitely be going down starting this weekend and I’ll be at the Black Friday lineup at the FootLocker flagship on 34th Street. I’m still undecided on whether I will copp the Air Jordan retro ‘Black Cement’ 3s or the Nike retro ‘Tim Duncan’ Forceposites. Decisions…

All Day I Dream About Sneakers…

Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

I got a box from adidas this weekend with their latest casual hightop basketball shoe – The LQC. This stands for Lightweight Quality Comfort. The shoe reminds me of a Supra Skytop in that casual sneaker vein. I don’t think the LQC is really for playing basketball in, but more for chilling out and going top the movies.

I’m down with adidas sending me shoes so I can kick it with y’all (you see what I just did?), but I’m just waiting for the all leather Rod Laver to return so I can BEAST out and copp 10 pairs.
