REEBOK BACK…

Monday, December 19th, 2011

As you can see, I was all about Reebok, Polo and Timberland from the rip. So you can imagine that I was excited when Reebok reached out to me to see if I would be interested in talking about some of their products. The truth is that I’m all about their legacy shoes like the Ex-O-Fit, but I wasn’t as keen on their ZigTech sneakers.

That was until I walked the streets of Brooklyn with the NYC Reebok rep. I realized how similar our sneaker sensibilities were and how I might possibly get to see a return of the all black tennis classics. I’ll fux with Reebok for a chance to rock some shit like that in a premium leather. In the meantime and in between time I’m getting seeded with styles of my choosing.

Here’s a Reebok collab with the clothing company 10Deep. The trailrunners are called Night Sky Mids. Nice suede on the upper over a ripstop mesh base. I ain’t mad at these joints one bit.

Santa Bronson Under The Mistletoe…

Action Bronson gets into the holiday spirit recounting some unrequited love in that special way only he can do.

Justin Bieber gives Bronson that ’13yr old white girl’ demographic that means Action can now start to print his own money.

I’m checking Timberland for the sales on their past summer/autumn boots and I caught these joints called the ‘Radler GTX’ for a nice price.

SNEAKER FIENDS UNITE!

NiceKicks.com is back in NYC again, but this time they are here on their own dime hosting the launch of their New Balance 1500 collab project.

The venue was the swanky beatsbydre store in the swankyville SoHo neighborhood. Clark Kent had the headphones and more importantly, the sound system.

Combat Jack was in the building and he challenged me to a dance off [ll] during the Michael Jackson set. The spot was going kreay. Oh and yeah, it was free Hennessy for several hours.

The NiceKicks x NB1500’s is fiyahverkx to the point I have to ask myself what I’m gonna do this week. Copp the Jordan Concords or go after these buttermilks. What do y’all internets say?
