Killer Mike Made The Movie…

Friday, June 8th, 2012

Killer Mike created a masterful Hip-Hop album with ‘R.A.P. Music’ because of the street narrative spoken throughout the CD, but this video right here puts the visual treatment for a rap track on another level.

Copp R.A.P. Music now!

Salutes to El-P and Killer Mike.

This video is THE MOVIE.

Captain America Comeups…

Wednesday, June 6th, 2012

As the great emancipation holidays approach for the nation and for the collective Black asses of African Americans I wanted to point your eyes and ears in the direction of another TJX Corp branded off-price department store – TJ Maxx.

They are holding some big pony knits in various nation states and since I value my USA dollars over all others I choose to spend them on a shirt which tells you where I’m from as opposed to where I’d like to travel.

This is the normal lane for Ralph Lauren offerings at the TJX family of stores. Something nice from a season past at a price too low NOT to copp even if the XXL ‘Custom Fit’ can sometimes look like a sports bra on my frame.

Get Ready 4 Combat…

Tuesday, June 5th, 2012

Dropping science with the irrepressible Artie Lange. He thought all these Black dudes were a rap gang. LOL

My homey Felipe Gordone got a chance to hang with Combat Jack, Premium Pete, Just Blaze and Matty Raz at this week’s podcast of the Combat Jack Show. The Combat Jack Show has moved into some new digs in the Radio City complex. He tells me good times were had as usual.

The special guest this week is Def Jam’s soulfilled conscious rapper Big KRIT touting the release of his first studio album with the legendary record label. ‘Live From The Underground’ is in stores now. If we get a chance we’ll drop a review on the album, but for now, get ready for Combat…

Housebroken…

Tuesday, June 5th, 2012

The first road team win in the conference finals of the Association tourney goes to the OKC Thunder who housebroke the indomitable San Antonio Spurs in the venerable Alamo Dome where the Spurs had been on a 16game win streak.

The Thunder led by Durant, Westbrook and Harden outlasted the Spurs in a hardfought contest.

Closing out the Spurs in OKC has to be a priority for the Thunder because a return to San Antonio will be a level of pressure that only veteran players can withstand.

These Spurs have played this season like a team for the ages but it will be all for naught if Kevin Durant channels his alter-ego Silky Jenkins in game 6.
