HIMLOCDCOVERFRONT

Philadelphia has a long history within the Lo-Life mythology. Philly was a rack destination when NYC was drying up. Boostin’ Billy (R.I.P.) relocated to Philly from Brooklyn. The Lifestyle connection between NYC and Philadelphia was always about hard work and being a str8 up entrepreneur. HIM-LO is cut from this same age old cloth of brothers who do what must be done in order for their families to flourish.

You might have heard of HIM-LO along with his brother Clever-1 as the duo the Buze Brovas. Clever-1 is still in the picture but he takes a backseat on this project in order for HIM-LO to maximize his rhyme shine potential. HIM-LO doesn’t disappoint.

What a groovy track from the cloaked crusaders on this joint. I appreciate the wrinkle the Dopp added to their flows and their beats. This track is off their latest album dropping this month: ‘Peace Kehd’

Don’t sleep on these dudes in 2014

“Peace Kehd is available for pre-order and set to be released on CD and vinyl, as well as digitally, on February 18. It’s the follow-up to 2013′s HARK, which was named the #2 NY Hip-Hop Album by the Village Voice. The menacing and grimy feel of The Doppelgangaz’ music belies the whip-smart humor that they’re known for. As XXL says, “The Doppelgangaz are New York rap in its purest form.”

This is the MOST HARDBODY commercial you will never see on television.
