Knicks Fans Are Still Seeing Stars…

Sunday, February 26th, 2012

The Association’s grand cotillion, All-Star Weekend, is being held in Orlando this year. All the hookers are wearing mouse ears.

Watch the following video and imagine that we lived in an alternate universe on the Earth where Iman Shumpert wasn’t injured during All-Star weekend and he was actually participating in the dunk contest.

When the Knicks return from the All-Star break they will be back to answering the tough questions like whether or not this team as comprised can seriously challenge the better Eastern Conference teams for a chance at the ‘chip.

One thing I know the Knick fans better do is chill on all this Jeremy Lin as savior talk. That was Carmelo Anthony’s job. Knickerbocker fans need to ‘Melo their LINsanity.

#LINSANITY

Jeremy Lin and the Knicks didn’t look past Atlanta like they did with New Jersey. At least they go to Miami with a sense of self and destiny remounted. The test will be to see what they can achieve from the Heats tilt if not a win.

Baron back?!?

We only wanted a pointguard to pass to Amar’e in the paint of ‘Melo filling the lane. Now we have a TEAM. Still on the back end of the tournament bracket, but not the team you wanna see in the first round either.

Still and all, Dragon eats hawk is simple Chinese arithmetic.

Keeping The Good Times Roll-LIN…

Jeremy Lin is the truth, but let’s not forget about the rest of the Knicks who have contributed to this mini-run of excellence. At the beginning of this promising season it was Iman Shumpert who appeared to be the revelation.

With a court savvy that belies his rookie status and the defensive intensity of a veteran cager Iman Shumpert is 1/2 of what may be the next legendary Knickerbocker backcourt. All Iman Shumpert needs now is a proper Knickname…

Super LINtendo!

Dontrevius Wenters once had the fairytale narrative of the greatest undrafted Knicks of all time. Jeremy Lin has changed all of that and inspired the city of New York to believe in the Knickerbockers once again.

Dontrevius, ever the optimist has changed his narrative to be the greatest unsigned Knick of all time.

Happy VaLINtine’s Day…

LINsanity goes north of the border to avenge the Knicks loss to the Raptor’s earlier this season. Amar’e Stoudamire and Carmelo Anthony should both be back in the starting lineup. Now we have a chance to see the running and gunning, swishing and dishing team that Mike D’Antoni’s offense dreams of.

I’m a little upset at the success of Lin because it means that D’Antoni is spared the axe, but I’m having way too much fun enjoying the wave the Knicks are on right now. You know that Lin is a miracle worker because even Jared Jeffries’ play has become fun to watch.
