HUGO CHAVEZ, Professional Shit Talker…

Props to CHE GUEVARA for making such kick azz t-shirts…

Just the other day I was hoping someone would wild out at the U.N. General Assembly meeting and put white supremacy on blast. Your mans-n-them, HUGO CHAVEZ stepped up and called out your boy G DUBBZ for being all full of shiite and reppin’ that imperialism by crip walking on Iraq. The big mistake that CHAVEZ made was by calling shenanigans on Zionism. Israel is surely going to wipe the Palestinians off the map similiar to the way the native Americans took the ‘L’ here in the States and they may just have to serve up CHAVEZ for even mentioning their name. As much as homie flies in planes he better start carrying a parachute. Cause it’s going down.

Getting past the comedic rhetoric and confident bluster of CHAVEZ’ speech is essentially the fact that the U.N. is just a theatre. The state actors are just actors and performers without the charisma of even a voice over artist. The United Nations General Assembly is an exercise in false pretenses and futility. Just like the Senate on Coruscant, it has been emasculated by the Sith Lords and it should be voided. The United States doesn’t need the U.N. to issue their permission when we want to put our foot in someone’s azz and subsequently we don’t care about any humanitarian issues in Afghanistan or Palestine. Them niggas need to get with this Imperial crip walk.

PIPER CARTER, Shorty of the Year…

Way back in the beginning of the summer when my cousin PIPER CARTER was starting to get some shine for the photos she took of ‘Flavor of Love’ golddigger NIKKI ALEXANDER, I knew she was on her way to bigger and better things so I asked her to inaugurate our ‘Shorty of the Month’ feature.

Slowly but surely the wheel has been turning in her favor and she just caught some more light snapping photos for NPR at NYC’s Fashion Week. PIPER isn’t only sharp behind a camera. She’s quite hot in front of one too.

VH-1: Not All Crap

Just when I am ready to throw Viacom Corp. under the bus, they produce a program that is the highlight for my entire year…

Approaching it’s third annual broadcast, the VH-1 Hip-Hop Honors might be the greatest Hip-Hip program ever produced. The formula of featuring new emerging talent along with honored performers has made it the one show that hasn’t reduced rap music to minstrelsy and cornball posturing. I admit that the hosting can get better, but who can argue with the talent that has been on display since their first broadcast? If you just arrived in America from say, Nebraska, and you wanted to know what Hip-Hop music was about then the Hip-Hop Honors program is your 101 class.

Past honorees have included Public Enemy, KRS-1, Grandmaster Flash, LL Cool J, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Kool Herc, Salt-n-Pepa, RUN D.M.C., and Ice motherfuckin’ Tee. This years’ show looks like it’s going to be the best one yet with LIL’KIM honoring MC LYTE. ICE CUBE, WU-TANG, RAKIM, EAZY-E, the BEASTIE BOYS and the great AFRIKA BAMBAATA are all being honored and/or performing as well as DIDDY, LIL’ JON, FAT JOE, REMY MA, YOUNG JEEZY, XZIBIT, COMMON and Q-TIP. I smell a DILLA tribute inside of this program that you don’t want to miss. Even my funky uncle, GEORGE CLINTON is scheduled to perform.

Forget a BET Awards or a VMA, what you really want to watch is VH-1’s Hip-Hop Honors premiering Tuesday, October 17. And starting on Friday, September 15, VSPOT, VH-1’s broadband channel will launch a dedicated Hip Hop channel with extensive on-demand music playlists from this year’s “VH-1 Hip-Hop Honors” honorees. The channel will be programmed with additional content throughout September and October and will include honoree profiles and exclusive programming and performances from the on-air broadcast of the show.

FREEDOM FRIDAY RETURNS…

NYC’s #1 dance party jumps off again at a movie theater!?!

That’s right party people, FREEDOM FRIDAY is back to give your body and soles the groove that they have been missing. Their new home, TriBeCa Cinemas, is spacious and relaxing. There are two seperate levels for dancing and lounging as well as a movie theater which will play some of your favorite classics from ‘Star Wars’ to ‘The Last Dragon’.

The best part about FREEDOM’s new digs is that the old price points are still in full effect. This means that when you say the name ‘DALLAS PENN‘ to the cashier, ladies will pay only $5 and fellas only have to pony up $7. Doors crack at 10pm and there will be an open vodka bar from 10pm until midnite.

The bigger news than FREEDOM moving is that they are now rolling with politcial pimp KEVIN POWELL. This means that the ladies will be mostly from the ‘Talented Tenth‘ and there may even be a BeYonce or Solange sighting up in that piece. Stay tuned…
