activator

Don’t be fooled by their promo pic. Activator will punch you and your mother in the mouf. In the ‘last of a dying breed’ category we have one of the most hardcore punk bands since Minor Threat.

Activator was on the Def Jux roster until the label imploded. The band still remains and the boys still rock. Activator will be one of the legendary bands performing on the Afro-Punk stage at Commodore Barry Park outside of the Brooklyn Navy Yard this Saturday.

It Ain’t A Game Dawg…

nba2kobe

The Association ‘chip tourney has come down to one last game and the winner takes all.

Thursday night’s tilt will mark the 17th time that the Finals have needed a seventh game to decide the champs.

In lieu of the news that Disney Corp., the parent company of ESPN would be shuttering almost all of the ESPN Zone restaurants I have decided to watch this historic game at that venue.

Not from the bar or an attended booth, but from my fave zone in the building – the deuceteria.

Sheeeit, with a screen in the latrine playing Game 7 and my own food and beverages I can tell you off top who the real winner will be on Thursday night…

Winning, winning, winning, winning. Winning…
