Outfit Architecture…

The old Earth taught me to put on something nice when I was going out on a date. Not just something nice, but something I hadn’t worn previously. Pop a tag in other words.

Chocolate Snowflake and I are doing a couple of dates for this holiday weekend so I thought I’d show off my swag for those of you who can’t see us in the streets.

This first ‘fit was for Sunday which was all about dinner and the movies at Times Square. We peeped ’30 Minutes Or Less’ and were gonna multiplex that with ‘Horrible Bosses’ but ’30 Mins’ was good enough for us.

a couple of people asked me if I was coming from the Open. LOL. I must have looked like an overweight ballboy[ll].

The next ‘fit is for a special date that I promised C.S. several years ago when we were first getting together. I told her I would take her to the Aquarium at Coney Island.

After several years we are finally going on that date since I have no more tricks up my sleeve. Then again, I still have some more tags to pop so maybe I’ll have to figure out someplace else for us to go?

Blaq Poet featuring Meyhem Lauren – ‘Hood Talk’

blaq po society

Here’s another sick feature with Meyhem Lauren coming off Blaq Po’s joint ‘Blaq Poet Society’. The concept Blaq and Meyhem skill on this track is some classic bodega bullshit.

Back to the future Bo Jackson swag…

The Nike Air Trainer Huarache was a dope shoe when it first dropped almost twenty years ago. They still go hard when the upper has nubucks and suedes all over it.

No Bang From C4, Just Some Pop…

I have to admit that I never understood the fascination most rap fans seem to have with Lil’ Wayne. Yeah, he was what’s next back in 2006 but that seems like an eternity ago. The dude’s rhymes never became more compelling to me than simple contemporary pop drivel. Lil’ Wayne isn’t spitting timeless lines or transcendent concepts. I hope he doesn’t name another record Carter. This record gets the same rating I gave Watch The Throne, but at least I’m still playing songs off WTT.

I gave WTT a 2.5 because the two(2) artists who made that album could have done better, not so much for the Carter4. I will rate this album 2.5/5 because this is the best that Lil’ Wayne can do for rap. I’d rather hear Wayne on a rock album at this point. I mean, when the two best songs on YOUR own album don’t have you on the tracks I’d say that it’s a wrap for Wayne’s rap career.

More Comeup Lifestyle…

My brother Dirty Jerz thinks he can compete with the king of the comeup game. The truth is that he can’t. No one can. I have given my whole credit history to the game.

On my way to submit some returns to Macy*s for store credit I came upon some redonkulously priced cable knit sweaters. The V-neck varsity joint will help me look spiffy in my jeans and green bottom Rod Lavers.

From $245 to $19.99 and you still don’t think I’m the comeup king?

The cable knit cardigan is so sick with it and look at what the original MSRP was? Dayyyyyyyum! This is a killer comeup at 94% off.

Jerz and I both agree that you can’t be considered a comeup unless the markdown is at least 60% off of that retailer’s original ticket price. Since Macy*s starts with the Polo Ralph Lauren ticket these prices are banana bread. As a matter of fact, even for Marshall’s these would be great prices.
