Royal Cravatte Lifestyle…

Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

You can’t tell me nothin’ about my necktie swag. I’ve got several dozen lifestyle neckties with graphics printed on them from yacht races to polo matches to cricket scenes. It’s part of my meta-aspirational look. Not only do I aspire to be on the golf course. I also rock a tie of people playing golf to keep my dream alive.

My latest acquisition was this cravat with the USA sweatshirt printed on it. I already see this joint over a white button down shirt and a pair of green bottom Rod Lavers on my feet.

union jack

Even tho’ these New Balance were made in the U.S.A. I’ma still call them my ‘Union Jack 996s’. I’m shamelessly hyping myself up for the upcoming Captain America flick. I should be at the new X-Men movie while you are reading this drop.

I am so on my New Balance kick right now. I just need someone to help me find these in a men’s size 12.

L.R.G. R.I.P.

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

The co-founder and the creative vision for the L.R.G. clothing line passed away yesterday.

I actually met dude at a party in the Jeff Staple store Reed Space. Any of you still have the LRG etched Courvosier cognac glasses that I mailed out please give up a prayer for Jonas Bevacqua.

Jonas was cool and humble and talked about the inspiration that Polo Ralph Lauren gave him as a kid coming up. When he got the chance to create his own line of gear he flipped a design out of respect to the lifestyle.

I caught that piece pictured above at AJ Wright for mere pennies and eBayed it for a princely sum. You have to really respect the P.R.L. line he was shouting out. 1992 was one of the greatest years in the lifestyle.

From comic books to kicks Sean P has the game on smash.

Ruck’s sneaker designs have been inspired by some of the great African American matinee stars. Peep the LeVar Burton and Billy Dee Williams packs.

For the final pack from Sean Price’s cinematic heroes sneaker pack we look to none other than the great baritone voice of actor James Earl Jones.

Darth Vader Shox BB Pro
Luke will definitely be getting sonned when Darth Vader steps in the paint wearing these Shox.

King Jaffe Joffer Air Max 90
These Air Max 90s put the zoom in Zamunda.

Thulsa Doom Trainer 1
These shoes were made for plundering and pillaging and that is why Nike calls them the Trainer 1 ‘Unleashed’.
