panama

You might remember Panama a little differently as the dude who was wearing Bubble’s ass out [ll] on HBO’s ‘The Wire’.

Here is the download link to his debut project. Production from DJ Boy Wonda, DJ L-Gee, K-Dot and EDubble. This album also features Esso, Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, Vic Damone, Serius Jones and others.

As Panama steps into the ring, he’s giving all of us a ringside seat.

The Association 2010: Wig Owners > Wig Brushers…

rodman

For his overall size [ll] DENNIS RODMAN was one of the best players in the league. His singular defensive focus and uncanny knack for securing rebounds should have him voted into the Hall Of Fame. The thing that hurts RODMAN’s chances are all those times that he fuxed with his hair. RON ARTEST is slowly becoming the new millennial DENNIS RODMAN except ARTEST still doesn’t have a championship. DENNIS has a handful. As soon as RON RON gets his ring he will enter the circle of NBA Wig Owners.

But for now he has shown promise, like the TRU WARIER design he wore while in Indiana. ARTEST shows us that despite poor spelling we knew exactly what he was trying to say. Who’s the fool?

Just in case he forgot what shitty shitburg the Pacers shipped him off to RonRon had his squad’s named laced into his scalp. But without Bibby in the backcourt any longer the Kings were more like the serfs.

Houston was the next stop for the RON ARTEST hair show. The Rockets were buzzing with the notion of TRACY McGRADY, YAO MING, SHANE BATTIER and RON ARTEST all on the floor at the same time. Unfortunately that moment only occurred for 10 minutes in a pre-season game.

Artest: I can get you a haircut for halfprice?
Kobe: Nah man, I’m good.

ronron Hi, my name is Ron
To shore up their defense (read: to give fits to CARMELO ANTHONY) the Lakers acquired ARTEST from the Rockets. Lakers coach PHIL JACKSON had dealt with the eccentric DENNIS RODMAN previously so most people assumed he could figure out the enigmatic RON ARTEST.

After finishing the first half of the season looking like the bee’s knees (except for their Cleveland matchups) the Lakers have come back down to Earth. To hopefully spark(yes LISA LESLIE) his teammates ARTEST added a new wrinkle to his wigscape – hairdye. This was a wigbrushing technique that was mastered by RODMAN since his days in Detroit.

The Lakers’ skid hasn’t ended yet, but the road to Wig Ownership for RON ARTEST has only just begun. He’s a got a lot of ‘chips to win and boards to grab if he wants to equal the NBA’s Wig Brushing/Owning G.O.A.T., but I won’t count RON ARTEST out.

Come to think of it, just wait until ARTEST plays for the Clippers?

Who Killed Biggie Smalls?

big

The tragic murder of Christopher Wallace is still being felt in the boro that he hailed from. The Kings county streets still want justice for their fallen general.

Who is behind the murder of Biggie Smalls? Why hasn’t this murder or that of 2Pac Shakur been solved after more than ten years each. I watch these detective shows that solve murders along with prosecuting trials and all of that happens under an hour.

Before the next sad anniversary the murderer of Biggie Smalls must be found. Or should I say, revealed…

UnKut: Best Mixtape Of 2010…

counterstrike tracklist

You might’a caught this joint already if you fuxes with Nah and the DopeBoyz. Even OhWord had the link to this compilation posted earlier this week. Queens get the money better late than never. UnKut is the reason for THIS blog. Shouts to Jerry and Hydra Entertainment.

From Queensbridge projects up Queens Boulevard to Sutphin and the southside, Robbie even has the Rockaways on lock. If you are from Queens and you rap, and Robbie doesn’t have your tracks you might have to move to another boro. The Counterstrike compilation features some of Queens best emcees and is curated by UnKut.com and is hosted by the bouncemaster DooWop.

Killa Sha appears on tracks and earns his posthumous props that he thoroughly deserved when he was here with us. The joint with ShaLoomie and G Rap is one of my favorite songs of 2010. Screwball’s KL, CNN’s Capone and even more QB Queens flavor. I still can’t believe Robbie does his .mp3 crate digging all the way across the globe in Australia. UnKut.com is the internets foremost rap paleontologist. This mixtape plays like an underground Hip-Hop archaeological find.

Before you pick up the Consequence ‘Movies On Demand’ mixtape make sure you DL the Counterstrike compilation for all that good retrograde Queens rap shit.

Clone Wars Is Star Wars Crack…

Sunday, March 7th, 2010

star wars

The Clone Wars series on Cartoon Network is better than I expected it to be. After the Clone Wars feature film a couple of years ago I slept on this series beinbg developed by Cartoon Network. I wanted it to be bloodier and more ruthless. The series is set in the Star Wars universe in between the timelines of episode II ‘Attack Of The Clones’ and ep. III ‘Revenge Of The Sith’.

As the Separatist vs. Republic war rages on we start to see the chinks in the Republic’a armor. The Jedi Knights are under duress spread far and wide across the universe. Old rivalries are rehashed and the battle lines are drawn. I watched an episode where the Mandalorians were building up their war machine again after several generations of seeking peace, productivity and prosperity. You even get to meet Obi Wan’s girlfriend.

Clone Wars is a fantastic ret-conning of the Star Wars universe that is good television programming for any level of Star Wars fan. I’ve recently been on a clone trooper binge so I am enjoying watching these characters be introduced and placed into their respective roles for the story. I know how the story progresses but watching the details unwind is the best part.

If you are a Star Wars fan I know I don’t have to tell you to watch this show, but if you aren’t totally a fan of the SW storyline you will still enjoy the action and the next generation computer graphics imaging used for the animation.
