Gotye: Somebody That I Used To Know

Sunday, April 22nd, 2012

I haven’t been able to turn this Gotye song off in my brain for the past month. It sounds like Sting and Enya yelling at each other.

It’s not the lyrics but the beat that I love so much. And the hook just makes me feel like this would be the dopest ‘Grown Man Rap’ breakup song.

So here’s the plan… I reach out to Sean Price, Dice Raw and Black Thought’s people (all via TWitter) and ask them all to fux with the instrumental version.

The second part of my fiendish rap plan is to get Rah Digga in the middle of this ‘Grown Man Rap’ track. This shit is about to be cataclysmic. Just imagine for a second, Sean Price, Dice Raw, Rah Digga and Black Thought on this joint. Yeah, you just creamed yourself [ll]. I did too.

*Burnout Update*

Internets, this is why you should NOT do drugs. I BEEN listening to this track since Dice Raw smashed it way back in January as his ‘Game Of Thrones’ freestyle. Duhhhh!

NaS: Black Girl Lost pt.2

Monday, April 16th, 2012

NaS lost on this joint. The lil’ homey always liked to preach to the ladies a bit but this joint don’t mean nothing to nobody.

Get back on that rap shit king. Fux these ho’s.

Tupac Back?!?

Monday, April 16th, 2012

Why’d Tupac decide to make a public appearance at the Coachella festival instead of Summer Jam or Powerfest? You know, somewhere the HOMIES be?

Hip-Hop music’s arguably greatest icon came back from the dead on Greek orthodox Easter at a hippy music convention instead of the Greek picnic at Fairmont Park.

Sure Snoop was there for him to rock with and ‘Pac did profess his California Love, but dammmmmmn, can’t rap music get a boost from a Black artist anymore. I’m surprised Holo-Tupac didn’t jump on a track from Mac Miller yet, or maybe Machine Gun Kelly.

All I can hope for now is bumping into a hologram Notorious at the Waffle House on East-East Connector. Below is still best hologram of ALL TIME.
