Death Of A Dynasty…

duncan

Editor’s Note: I had to repost this drop from February. I’m thinking about creating a category titled ‘I Told You So’.

The San Antonio Spurs have one of the best records in the Association over the last twenty years. Dating back to the Admiral David Robinson alongside the little general Avery Johnson and the goose-necked Sean Elliot. But just like the Patriots under Belichek or the Braves under Cox[ll] the time has come to rebuild this franchise. Duncan is the only part that should remain. Maybe Tony Parker to keep him company [ll].

KEVIN DURANT for M.V.P.? Who has a better FG% than the kid? Free Throw %? 3pt %? And he is a top tier scorer. Watch and see Durant get a ring before LeBron James if the Cavs don’t break through this year.

grant hill

I was surprised that GRANT HILL was playing at such a high level for Phoenix during the 2010 NBA Playoffs when everyone from his era has already been retired from the game, but then I was reminded that HILL has been ‘red-skirted’ for 90% of his pro career.

HILL was supposed to be Michael Jordan 2.0 but instead he ended up being MJ 2.No. At least he got a few ill sneakers endorsed by Fila under his name. Sneaker endorsement money kept him married to that fine ass sister all those years he was laid up on the DL [ll].

Fila is now calling their retro’d Grant Hill II shoe the Ninety6 since HILL now runs around in NIke shoes. I always liked these shoes even tho’ I didn’t particularly fux with GRANT. Blame that on his Duke U. association and his friendship with Christian Laetttner.

Nice shoes tho’.

Thunder And Lightning…

lightning

Westbrook is the perfect complement to Kevin Durant’s game. He is tough as nails and is fast as lightning. Westbrook ignited the Thunder’s fastbreak by grabbing 8 rebounds by himself. The Thunder are faster than the Lakeshow and the Lakers are one of the leagues top 5 teams. I’m not gonna say the Lakers are in trouble yet, but they are now immersed into a three(3) game series and if they get caught slipping their defeat would be epic.

The key to the Thunder’s victory is that their All-Star doesn’t have to dominate the ball for them to win. The Lakers were blown away with Durant scoring only 22pts on ONLY 12 shots. This isn’t a case of Durant and Westbrook making their teammates play better, but their teammates are extra motivated to bring their intensity up to the level of their superstars. The Lakeshow better find some motivation themselves or they will be on vacation faster than lightning.

Smacking Thunder Out The Lakeshow Moufs…

kdeezy

KD, Westbrook and the rest of the Thunder enjoy that home cooking.

29 pts – 19 boards

But better than all of that was an MVP 4th quarter against the best finisher in the Association.

Thunder will get one more joint in this series.

Next year KD will pwn the league.

kd

I just wanted to salute the youngest in charge, KEVIN DURANT, for leading the Association in scoring this season.

KD scored over 30pts in 47 games.

This dude is gonna be a PROBLEM.
