SNEAKER FIENDS UNITE!

Wednesday, April 25th, 2012

Awwwww ish! Nike, you’s a fool for this one.

NikeID put the Air Jordan Spiz’ike on their customization programme.

And just in time for the Knickerbocker playoff run.

These are called the Kniz’icks Spiz’ikes Home because Madison Square Garden is the world’s most famous arena.

I’m calling these the Kniz’icks Spiz’ikes Away because the Knicks will have to be road warriors to go deep in the Association’s post-season tournament

This colorway is the Kniz’icks Spiz’ikes Alternates aka the Pat Zachary just in case the Knicks bow out early I will have some kicks to fux with the Mets.

Raising The Knicks Up From The Dead…

Monday, April 9th, 2012

I’ve put a moratorium on all my derogatory and slanderous TWits aimed at Carmelo Anthony after his Easter Sunday ‘Miracle at MSG‘. The Knicks needed a savior and ‘Melo wound up playing the role of the big shot messiah. Who knows what will be the fate of these Knickerbockers for the month of April but yesterday afternoon was moment of blissful ecstasy that I’ll hold onto until the end of the regular season.

Maybe.

Carmelo played his greatest game as a Knick not just by having his career high as a Knickerbocker, but how he rallied the team with clutch shooting when everyone else couldn’t throw the ball in the ocean. And by everyone I mean Anthony’s former Denver teammate J.R. ‘Fancy Shoes’ Smith.

While the Knick win was exhilarating it also came with a price. The Knicks management granted media access to comedian Tracy Morgan so that he could assume the role of the greatest Knick that never was. Despite his efforts Dontrevius Wenters has no place with this organization. Maybe the Brooklyn Royale might could use a superstar to replace Deron Williams when he makes tracks after the season ends?

I just need someone to get the DW workout tape to Sean Carter.

Putting All Our Eggs Into One Basket…

Sunday, April 8th, 2012

Double entendre abounds with the above headline. Toney Douglas was nearly exiled to the Siberian League last month but with the season ending injury to Jeremy Lin and the habitual gimpiness of Baron Davis the Knicks are looking to Douglas to save their season.

Douglas gave some hope with his performance against Orlando last Thursday by keying the defense and spelling the starting PG Davis with timely shots and crucial assists. The Knicks are tenuously holding on to the last playoff spot in the Eastern Conference and their game today against the Chicago Bulls might be a preview of the first round match-up of the 1st and 8th seeds.

Toney Douglas, I take back every piece of slander I uttered in your direction.

Ridin’ The Dragon ‘Til The Wheels Fall Off…

Monday, April 2nd, 2012

The Knicks literally rode Lin ’til his wheels fell off. Jeremy Lin’s knee injury will keep him out of the rest of the Knicks season including the playoffs since I doubt the Knicks are going to escape being first round lunchmeat to the Heat.

The wild shit is that the Knicks held back info on Lin’s injury until after they sold their playoff package [ll] to the season ticket holders. Sports are ghey for shit like that.

No Peace For A Zen Master…

Forget about former Knicks legend and ‘chip wzrd coach Phil Jackson coming to the Garden to coach the Knickerbockers.

The curse of Isiah Thomas prevents this.
