Always An Angel…

What do you say when the queen passes away?

I hope she gets her due at long last. Her voice was raw beautiful power. The heir to Diana Ross’ pop music princess throne Whitney never really got her castle or her crown.

Long live the queen!

iFux With Phony People…

Thursday, January 26th, 2012

Phony PPL is a rap band coming out of Brooklyn. It’s too simplistic for me to call them the Roots 2.0 reboot, but that is the vibe I am catching from them. Rhythm, blues, rap, soul and just a tinge of funk. I’ve seen them perform twice already in the new year and I’m hype to see them develop their groove.

DL their debut album ‘Phonyland‘ and catch the PhonyPPL wave…

Stop Sleeping Internets…

Saturday, January 21st, 2012

This isn’t a music blog per se. Sure we stay having drops with music featured in them but I’m notorious for not listening to anything else once I get into something I’m feeling. Random Axe debut CD was my favorite joint of 2011 but I’ve been holding some other joints that I need to fux with harder [ll].

If you are someone who can devour music with reckless abandon I’ma ask you to get with some of this shit because all the artists here are moving upwards and onwards on some excelsior shit. Classic comicbook fans know what’s good with that lingo.
