Fabulous Redemption…

I’m sorry I didn’t run the dP NCAA Pool this year but kudos to the Louisville Cardinals and the Michigan Wolverines for making it to the Final Four title game tilt. I was hoping that ‘Cuse would be back in the Finals again but you can’t be mad for Louisville.

I’m rooting for the Wolverines tho’. I’m hoping that Michigan can get a title to redeem the Fab 5 squads which were prA’Li the most hated players in college basketball history. Even more hated than the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels. You can’t deny the swag of the Fab 5 on the basketball court.

Locked And Launched In NYC…

The Carmelo Anthony signature shoe launch was dope if for only to see a couple of thousand NYC schoolkids got apeshit over watching French Montana perform. Jordan Brand does events to a tee and this was no different than any other joint I went to.

I wanted to leave with a pair of Melo ‘M9’s so bad that I almost let my thirst get the best of me. The shoe looks dope on feet and just from seeing the Knicks (and Mets – NY state of mind) colorway I got a little open. Anyhoo, I didn’t leave with any kicks but I did get to ask the based basketball god a couple of questions.

To Live And Play In NYC…

I’m headed to an event today to launch the latest Carmelo Anthony signature shoe for Jordan Brand. The theme surrounding this shoe is Carmelo’s love for playing here in the city of his birth.

Carmelo will host this event along with a concert for 1,400 NYC schoolkids. Fabolous, French Montana and DJ Clue are the music. Hopefully Jordan Brand will lace me with a pair of the Melo M9s.

The Melo M9 is Carmelo’s most technically advanced shoe. And the lightest.

These shoes could be the reason Carmelo Anthony is shining on the court and having an MVP-caliber season.

Melo’s MVP play could also be attributed to the fact he is finally comfortable being back home in the greatest city in the world.
