swoosh

Here are some pieces I copped for my everyday excursions through New York City. They are called the NIKE DunkEsto. NIKE created another series of hybrid shoes in similar fashion to the Air Max One Time Only pack. This time they combined my favorite shoe, the Dunk, with their popular ergonomic training shoe, the Presto. The result is a great snug-fitting walking shoe with ZoomAir technology in the shoes heel.

I may need another pair of sneakers like I need a hole in my head, but for the price I copped these for I can leave my murderous shit on ice for another day.

‘YE TUDDA gives me props for balling on a budget. Original MSRP for these jawnts was $110 so my cost of $25 (Richie’s on Delancey bitches) is more than 75% off. I stay winning.

B.E.T. = The Miseducation Of The Negro… Network

jig tv

When I was approached several months ago by the producers of the upcoming television program ‘Hot Ghetto Mess’ I will admit to you that I was a little wary of the production. ESPECIALLY because it was being broadcast on Black Entertainment Television. That network is so bereft of quality programming I immediately knew this show would be clown shoes trash. Still, the producers hounded me and I will admit I was tempted to submit to their overtures until it finally dawned on me that I would have no input whatsoever on the direction of this show.

‘Hot Ghetto Mess’ is more than a train wreck. It’s the final nail in the coon coffin that Black Entertainment Television is burying themselves in. This situation is worse than B.E.T. simply being irrelevant to Black people, but as the barometer for Black culture worldwide, B.E.T. is spreading an AIDS virus of imagery. And who sits atop this broadcast factory of false and fictional Black images? Who is the chief purveyor? A woman named DEBRA LEE.

It’s time to disinvest from every company that does business with B.E.T. It’s not simply good enough for sponsors like the Home Depot and AllState Insurance company to have their commercials reconfigured to other time slots because B.E.T. will still use those monies to produce their mindless content. You have to replace your Home Depot purchases by shopping at a Lowe’s Home Center and AllState Insurance should be replaced with anyone else. These companies are complicit with the production of the bullshit on B.E.T., and if we go to them directly and illustrate how we feel with our dollars and our SEN$ES they will have no other option but to divest from the Negro Network.

DallasPenn Dot Com Is For The Children…

bad boy

How about putting some education and information in the hands of your children this summer? My homegirl DJ REBORN will be teaching classes this summer on deejaying and music production at Dubspot Studios in Manhattan. The experience will give your children a more comprehensive understanding of how music is created. They will use the industry’s top tools for mixing and producing. Take a look at the Dubspot brochure…

Dubspot Youth Programs

The only problem is that the classes are far from free. But if you have a 16 or 17yr old that could use something constructive to do during the summer and you have a stack ($1000) to put towards that end this might be the experience that makes them interested in learning again.

cRap Music Fantasy League – Q3

ti

A monster shout goes out to El Gringo Colombiano for blessing DP Dot Com with his computer wizardry for the cRap Music Fantasy League. This shit is going down so icy cold for this quarter. We will drop bi-weekly updates on the CMFL as well features on some of the label owners who sport websites themselves and we will even highlight some of the label owners who just patrol the internets searching for that good-good Hip-Hop.

Let’s get started first by calling out all the labels in this rounds competition…

  • 11206 records
  • 20/20 Proof Records
  • 626 WreckChords
  • Ambulance Entertainment
  • America Done Fell Off Records
  • Avant-Garde Records
  • Bamboozled Records
  • BlackStar Records
  • Blue & Creme Entertainment
  • Bodega Records
  • Brick Productions
  • Buffoonery Recordings
  • Bulletproof Records
  • Chaos Records
  • Cloud Nine Records
  • Combat Jack Entertainment
  • Cool Cash Collective
  • Da Wig Snatcherz
  • Dead Presidents Records
  • Deaf Jam Records
  • Derailed Records
  • Diamond Ballers Records
  • DubbleUP Entertainment
  • Fingered Records
  • Flatline Records
  • Gain Green Records
  • Game One Records
  • GnomesayinTambout
  • Grand Theft Audio Records
  • Harleyworld Music
  • I Fux Entertainment
  • Incilin Productions
  • Krack Ko Kaine Entertainment
  • Likwid TangZ Music
  • Mental Calisthenics Records
  • NYC Records
  • Paperclip Records
  • Pretty Dollar Entertainment
  • Quarter Water Juice Records
  • R.adabing I.ntontanton P.roductions
  • Rainmen Records
  • Renegade Records
  • Rook Records
  • Roscoes Records & Waffles
  • Sheem-Deem Entertainment
  • Smart-Dumb Rappers Records
  • Windbreaker Records
  • Yes Baby Yes Entertainment
  • If you don’t see your label’s name then that means you didn’t make the cut for this round. A lot of you went over the allowed limit of rappers because you didn’t follow the submission rules that stated only (8) artists per roster (i.e. The Roots, Wu-Tang, UGK and Shop Boyz are all GROUPS of artists and not a single artist). Some of you didn’t respond to the confirmation e-mail in time and some of you weren’t even sure just what the hell was going on.

To all of you folks that didn’t make it in this round I ask you to stay locked in on the DP Dot Com cRap Music Fantasy League drops so that you don’t miss the Q4 registration period.

For all of you labels that did make the cut some of you have jumped out to an early lead if you have T.I. and KELLY ROWLAND on your rosters. T.I. scored 100pts with the release of his studio album ‘T.I. vs. TIP’ and BeYONCE’s loyal wig brusher racked up a nice little 25pts for her cover story on King Magazine. But don’t be dismayed, there is still a lot of cRap Music Fantasy League to be played. Another update drops this weekend.

Shouts also go out to loyal DP Dot Com supporter LM for sponsoring the prize pack.

    richies

My peeps at Richie’s on the world famous Delancey Street are having a summertime sale on some hot kicks and I thought I’d put you folks on in case you were considering an upgrade to your footgame swagger.

As usual my focus is centered around my favorite shoe, the NIKE Dunk, but I have some Air Max 90’s in the mix as well as some flavor for all the ladies too. All the kicks for men are $50 and the ladies joints are $40. The shipping for these sneakers will be a flat $8 per pair. Take a look at the lineup and if you smell anything holler back at the kid.
