‘Crack babies’ defy mother’s curse
The above story is great news because it informs us that there is almost no effect on the development of children whose mothers were addicted to cocaine during childbirth. This is big news party people. A generation of kids who were written off like an LL Cool J album are actually viable and productive adults. It turns out that cocaine was never really the problem.
The problem was, and still is poverty.
April 15th is the day most of us dread because we only think of it in terms of the statements we submit to the Internal Revenue Service, but April 15th should be an American holiday. Today is also the day that Jack Roosevelt Robinson played his first game as a member of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
Without this watershed moment in our country’s history we might still be using separate water fountains across the nation. It bears remembering that Jackie Robinson was as proactive off the field as he was on the diamond. He was an activist for equality in every walk of life and one of the greatest examples of the American ideal.
Let his memory make every April 15th a day to look forward to.

The Highline Ballroom called to inform me that the inaugural ‘LO-END THEORY event would have to be postponed.
Now I know what it feels like to be punched in the face.
I couldn’t prove that I had generated the interest in this event. My RSVP count is currently less that 100p and I haven’t sold any advance tickets through the Highline Ballroom website.
I’ve failed before so I’m not in an unfamiliar place. The question is what I will do to follow this up. I have to get the word out about this event to a much broader audience. Securing a sponsor(or two) means that I can lock down the venue with paperwork instead of a verbal nod. I can use the added time to issue more content from the performers as well. Maybe this turn of events is more fortune than failure?
When I spoke about this to Thirstin’ Howl The 3rd he sounded encouraged as opposed to dejected. He was excited to work on more promotions for the event. If I can learn a lesson from anyone’s work ethic and perserverance it would be TH3. Before the internet was the internets Thirstin’ Howl 3rd had created a DIY movement that traveled across the globe. With a singular belief in self-purpose he has remained as an artist with NO major entertainment company support. He is totally in the streets and grass roots. I’m going to use his example to get this event back on track.

Unlike my blog brethren, the great Combat Jack, I see the Kat Stacks storyline not as a trainwreck tragedy, but as the last of the great American success stories. Only in America can a whoare, who may very well have a learning disability, be able to negotiate for herself the lifestyle of her choosing.
Here I am going to a panel in Washington D.C. to advise people on how to get a foothold in the realm of social media and marketing and I stay one paycheck(not from any internets endeavors) away from eating at a soupkitchen. The Kat Stacks website is as basic as any basic bitch might devise and it is a murderer for referral traffic.
The sky is the limit for this chick because there is no line that she won’t cross. Kat Stacks’ is getting movie deals that aren’t pr0n? Kat Stacks is functionally illiterate and also securing book deals. This is the rapture ladies and gentlemen.
The cult of celebrity has found their savior and she is a hot mess-iah…
At the end of the day, we are all just suckers for love. Keep stackin’ your paper Kat.
