Never Believing The #Hype…

Saturday, May 12th, 2012

The streets of NYC were alive for an anticipated Air Jordan midnight release. The Air Jordan 4 retro ‘Cavs’ ‘Metropolitans’ dropped to another level of hypebeasting for synthetic rubbers and leather materials.

Knicks Finally Beat The Heat…

Monday, May 7th, 2012

What was prA’li the final home game for the Knickerbockers 2011-12 season was filled with drama and defined what the season has become for the team and its fans.

The Knicks pulled out a 2pt victory from the team every oddsmaker is predicting to hold onto the Eastern Conference crown and return to the Association tournament final round.

Carmelo Anthony was 2pts shy of reaching his Knick high score. Partly because he missed too many free throws and partly because Dwayne Wade gave him the Alonzo Mourning treatment on a dunk attempt.

But the Knicks stood tall and were resilient even after Baron Davis left the game with a horrific knee injury. Thanks to Amar’e Soudemire’s valiant efforts and the remaining team’s determination.

These Knicks might not play another game together after these playoffs but at least they stopped the post-season winless streak the franchise was mired in. Godspeed Baron Davis. Thank you Knickerbockers for the 2011-12 season.

I may not have been able to get the Knicks to give me a per diem for the Dontrevius Wenter’s series of videos, but I did shake hands with some of my NYC heroes.

Who knows where Dontrevius goes next season?

“Concrete jungle where dreams are made of” *This Jay-Z song pwns NYC sporting events*

Being in the Garden last nite was a blessing and a dream come true as I had a chance to chop it up with Knicks legends John Starks and Larry Johnson.

Playoff season is in full effect at MSG and it made me reminisce on some of the greatest Knickerbocker moments I can personally remember in their Association ‘chip tourney history.

Which one is your favorite?

The Dunk.
