Love & Loyalty On The Deuce…

Monday, January 23rd, 2012

If you told me twenty yrs ago that I would be friends on a first name basis with Lo-Lifes I would call you crazy. In the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn there had been so much blood, sweat and tears spilled over the acquisition of clothing it was senseless. It wasn’t simply the struggle to attain a fresh level of gear, but the real struggle was in keeping that clothing on your back.

The ‘Lo Goose On The Deuce’ event was a celebration of surviving those days and remaining fresh to this day.

That boy Krash made sure he repped the royalty along with the love and the loyalty. Hail Meg!

I fux with the homies ‘Fit right here.

Layers and layers of Artic Challenge I.T.s

AYAK brothers rocked the RLX

Super Bad MC Solace brought the sickest accoutrement with him. His lady, in the RLX parka. Niiiice.

My goggle swag was on a trillyonnnnnn.

Rack-LO is one of the LO-Life founders

The gathering moved from 42nd Street to the TKTS triangle in Times Square. Circle ski representatives were in full effect.

Now the event was starting. The competition was to see who had the freshest ‘Fit.

The two sickest outfits were worn by Bob-LO and his brother Bek-Live. Bob-LO rocked the official police badge skisuit with a K-Swiss knit underneath. That shit was tougher than leather.

Bek-Live killed it too by popping tags on a Descente outfit. What do you know about Descente? Bek-Live took me all the way back to the Scandinavian Ski Shop days. Bek-Live shut it down by rocking the OG Gucci joints with the red/green laces. This is how you do it.

It was dope to see decades of brotherhood and style combined into one. Next years’ event will be even sicker and larger. Peace to the LO-Lifes, my Decep brothers, the A-Team and ALL the kids who made the Deuce the most exciting and stylish place in New York city.

The Boot Camp Clique Chronicles…

Monday, January 23rd, 2012

I haven’t posted a Boot Camp Clique Chronicles video in a minute partly because I haven’t been allowed to buy any new boots once Chocolate Snowflake learned that I was smuggling shoes into her crib undercover. Also because I have been waiting to receive a pair I bought from this Canadian dude before Christmas.

Those boots arrived just as I brought an older pair out to clean off. The white eraser pictured above is perfect for cleaning your light colored suede and nubuck shoes. You can pick those erasers up cheaply at any stationery or art supplies store. In this recession you are gonna need to preserve your swag better. Let DP.com help you.

Mugshot Hairstyle Models…

Monday, January 23rd, 2012

This is what your typical Sexual Act Solicitors look like. Allegedly, of course, until a jury finds them guilty. Mugshot hairstyle models commit all kinds of crimes against humanity but mostly against hair follicles.

Let’s take a look at some of the recent round of models mugging for their closeup…

ASSAULT
This model is ready to kick some ass with her slickback style and her steely glare. The knife she wields is just for special effects.

GRAND LARCENY FRAUD
The neckbrace is for to hide her stolen credit cards. And her styling comb.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
The beatdown this model was given by his own car’s steering wheel was epic enough to bring out the highlights in his hairstyle. Good job dude.

CHILD ENDANGERMENT
The best thing about Mugshot Hairstyle Modeling is that it isn’t all age biased like regular modeling is. We’re not selling high fashion items here with MHM, but a lifestyle industry, and if you didn’t know this already prison is America’s last industry.

GRAND LARCENY FELONY
This man’s toupee is a capital crime to good taste everywhere.
