Tupac Back?

Tupac might be the biggest mainstream reference people have today when considering the iconic and legendary Timberland Iditarod class Superboot. His role in the seminal Hip-Hop movie ‘Juice’ cemented in people’s minds what an NYC street thug wore as he went about his business.

I didn’t buy my first pair, or any pair for that matter, of Iditarod Superboots to do my thugging. These boots were purchased because Timberland represented invincibility for your feet. That was always the ‘hood appeal to Timberland products. The idea that a boot could withstand temperatures as deep as 40 degrees below made you feel like Superman.

The 40 Below is dropping again this November. Here is your chance to cop a piece of Hip-Hop history. Here is where yon get yours.

Twin Towers NY 23

I apologize for giving you another Outfit Architecture drop without some other content to buffer the spacing. Since I just paid my annual server charges (on time I might add – Thanks Combat Jack) I should be doing more drops more often.

The ‘Fit pictured below is what I’m donning for the Indian Summer we are having here in NYC. Muggy weather and record high temps are keeping me in short pants.

Chocolate Snowflake said I was a bit thirsty to rock these socks on a day that is rumored to reach 90 degrees. Yeah, I’ll be hot but that has less to do with the socks and more to do with the Timberland heat rocks I’ll be popping the tags off.

The Intervale Mid city hiker was a shoe I bought on my recent trip to Atlanta. It’s lightweight and has a nice lowkey profile. It’s being called a ‘city hiker’, which I think is the new jazzy term for walking shoe.

The Intervale Mid is on crazy sale right now for $65 with FREE shipping. I had to copp myself another pair for the DS archives.

Timberland-Boot-Company-x-rag-bone-Fall-2010-Boots-A-Closer-Look-00

I think I’ve been ramped up for the Timberland Boot Company’s 40th anniversary more than anyone else on the planet. I’m not just hyped for the classics either because Timberland is still making innovative footwear that fits any lifestyle profile.

I just received a couple of pairs to kick of the season. First was the iconic 3-eye moccasin. This is one of my all-time favorite styles. It goes great with khakis or cargo shorts.

The saddle brown leather looks almost too perfect.

Talking about leather I also got these contractor boots. Peep the stitched outsoles on these. FIYAHVERKX. Nah’mean?! I had to put a little Godd Bootgod vid on the internets just to let the people see how it’s going dddddd-down.

And its just getting started. I’m so hyped that I’m not even waiting for Timberland to send me stuff. I’m buying anything I see that looks dope.

It’s a celebration bitches.

fozzie2

My mom used to call me Fozzie Bear when I was a chubby kid because I was always try’na be funny like the muppet comedian.

After the Fresher Than Your Average sneaker battle I made a trade with some Air Jordan retro 8 ‘Playoffs’ for the all white Foamposite. I got my shoe.

Time to go back to school on you fools.

The Wild River series dealt with a Crayola array of colors and textures on their knits and the shorts. Knit was on clearance rack at $60

The indian chief shorts weren’t too bad either at $40

I doubled up on my favorite short sleeve from the Wild River series when I saw it on clearance at an around the way spot.

I just feel like having doubles in this shirt will make a difference in my life. It won’t, but I want to feel like it will someday.

The Nike Lunar TR-1 trainer was $50 at Richie’s on Delancey. Who’s gonna say no to $50 sneakers?

The lesson taday is that Dallas Penn is an addict to fresh shit.
